I could never read three books in just one night. It took me an entire day just to read the sixth book! (I made sure I didn't do anything else the entire day, just so I could finish it the day it came out!)

Yeah, and I miss a bunch too. That's why I read every book at least twice.

Oh. I like to make sure I catch everything in a book, so I read through thoroughly and even re-read things so I don't miss anything. I think that's why I read so slowly.

I read it through fast and get the gist of everything, then read it again for the little details.

I don't have the patience for that, so I try to get everything registered with just one read.

Alright, to get this thread somewhat back on topic (*sweatdrop*) here's the next bit:
Katara shook her head as Aang let out a sudden gasp.
“Peaches!”
“Where?” Sokka was up next to him quickly, leaning over Appa’s saddle to get a better look. Sure enough, below them was a large tree with its golden fruit visible even from that distance. “Oh man! Those have to be bigger than my head!”
“Even Appa isn’t bigger than your head,” Katara said, climbing up beside the two boys.
“Very funny,” Sokka muttered back.
Katara looked at the peaches longingly before shaking her head, “peaches don’t grow naturally like that. Someone has to tend to them. If we just take them it will be stealing.”
“Do you see any houses around?” Sokka asked, gesturing toward the expanse of forest that stretched for miles in every direction. “You don’t just grow a gigantic peach tree and not have a house.

*snickers* I thought it sounded like Katara to say something like that. I mean, she did make fun of his ears.

I think you're doing a great job of keeping the characters all in-character so far. If I didn't know any better, I'd think I'd be reading a story-version of a future episode. ^_~

No prob. I love it when I make people happy (or laugh). ^^

Making people laugh is always a blast to do.
I'm doing my very best to keep them in character. Aang is ruthlessly hard for me, but I'm watching some of the episodes (yet again) and trying to pay attention to him.
