I wouldn't call him a troublemaker, really. He talks big, but more often then not trouble finds him and Zuko more than they're activly seeking it out.
He doesn't go out of his way to avoid it, though.
It's not an uncommon thing, really. According to my Psychology teacher, it happens a lot in young boys. They blame themselves, but they can't really handle blaming themselves so they lash out.

Aww. *huggles Sokka*
Geez, hugging is my solution to everything, I swear. They're sad, they need a hug. They're mad, they need a hug. They're cute, they need a hug.... ^_^;;

Poor Yue! I know what that's like. It's like when I moved to Germany in seventh grade. Everyone already had their own little social groups, everyone cussed me out a million times each day, and only one person in the entire school treated me like a person. And I think one of the teachers didn't like me very much.
And that's the total opposite from my school here, which I've been going to since third grade. It's a slightly small school and everyone treats each other like we're all a big family. Everyone's crazy and no one's left out of anything. It's great.

I still love my high school because it was that way. It was small enough that you knew everyone, and everyone had to particpate in everything for it work. They're all a bit crazy, though in a variaty of ways, and it was just fun.

I'm assuming the high school and the middle school are connected somehow?

Well, they seem to be. There is the peer tutoring program...
Tell you what. You're in charge of the schools ^^. I don't know how a typical school works, mine was much to small to figure out.

My school is preschool through 12th grade. Preschool thru 4th grade are on the first floor of one building, 5th thru 8th are on the top floor, and the high school is in its own small one-story building about thirty or so feet from the main building. Can you believe my school used to be a car dealership? XD
(my school's pretty small too; only 730-somethin' students in preschool thru 12th)

Alright, you win. There was a little over 1000 students in my school, 9th-12th grade.
I'm going to guess that since the school does seem fairly small, that the middle school is only a couple blocks or so from the high school, which is 9-12.

See? My school's itty bitty compared to yours! XD
How about we have the middle school across the street?
